Weapons

Get ready to expand your arsenal! The upcoming Season 4 will add five new weapons to the game.

  • LC10 (Available at launch): Players need to complete Battle Pass stages to access this weapon.

Game Modes

  • Team Elimination (Available at launch): A strategic twist on Kill Confirmed. Two teams possess limited life resources which they need to use to destroy each other while either taking dog tags from opponents or blocking enemy teammates from collecting dog tags.
  • One in the Chamber (Available in-season): A free-for-all mode where each player starts with a pistol, one bullet, a knife, and three lives. Accuracy and strategy are key!
  • Party-Ops (Mid-season): Players will compete against each other in a series of random party-themed minigames which create a fun and chaotic experience. The match winner receives victory after accumulating the highest score.

Zombies: Grief Returns!

Zombie fans, rejoice! During Season 4 Grief returns as the Zombies game mode. The last time this mode appeared in Black Ops 2 it allowed two teams of four to fight against each other with a special gameplay mechanic. Your main goal should be to capture specific zones which will provide debuffing effects that make it difficult for opponents to progress. The objective remains to outsmart and outmaneuver your competitors.

New GobbleGums

A new batch of three GobbleGums will be introduced to Zombies in general. The following are a few new things:

  • Explosive Flourish (Epic): Your weapon’s reload action causes an explosion that affects all around you. GobbleGum lasts 2 minutes.
  • Flavor Hex (Legendary): Activates a random Ultra GobbleGum.
  • Rainburps (Whimsical): Zombies killed belch sparkly rainbow bubbles. Lasts 3 minutes.

Other Details

Here are some other details about the new content so you don’t miss out on anything relevant:

  • A new operator Eve Macarro played by Ana de Armas will be added to the game in the Eve Macarro operator bundle. The event will be held from June 5th to 12th.
  • A new scorestreak, the Grim Reaper, will be added in-season. According to the Call of Duty blog it is a “Powerful semi-automatic launcher that can fire up to four rockets in one load.” It requires 725 points to unlock during a match.
